RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that meet all of the following conditions:

  • Item is unused and in original, unopened condition
  • Item is not a final sale item (see below)
  • Item includes all original packaging and materials
  • Item was purchased directly from cherrycreeklane.com

Final Sale Items (Non-Returnable):

  • Custom Word Searches
  • All discounted or sale items
  • Opened or used items
  • Items purchased from third-party retailers

How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Email info@cherrycreeklane.com within 30 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return

Step 2: We'll review your request and send return authorization and instructions within 24-48 business hours.

Step 3: Ship the item(s) back to:

Important:

  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method with insurance for items over $50
  • We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking
  • Keep your tracking number until your refund is processed

Refund Details

What You'll Receive:

  • Refund of the product purchase price only

What Is NOT Refunded:

  • Original shipping charges (even if you received free shipping)
  • Return shipping costs you paid
  • Any fees charged by your payment processor

Refund Timeline:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your returned item
  • Please allow 5-10 additional business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card company

Refund Method:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
  • Gift card purchases are refunded as store credit only

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

For Defective or Damaged Items: If your item arrived defective or damaged, we'll send you one replacement at no charge. Email info@cherrycreeklane.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the defect or damage.

For All Other Exchanges: If you'd like a different size, color, or product:

  1. Return the original item for a refund (following the process above)
  2. Place a new order for the item you want

Please note: You will pay shipping costs on both the return and the new order.


Special Circumstances

Wrong Item Shipped (Our Error): If we shipped the wrong item, we'll make it right at no cost to you!

  • Email info@cherrycreeklane.com within 7 days of delivery
  • Include your order number and a photo of the item received
  • We'll send the correct item and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect one

Damaged in Transit:

  • Email info@cherrycreeklane.com within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include your order number and photos of the damage
  • We'll send you one replacement order at no charge
  • Keep the damaged item until we contact you with further instructions

Lost or Stolen Packages:

  • Check your tracking information first
  • If tracking shows "delivered" but you didn't receive it, contact the carrier (USPS or UPS) directly
  • We cannot issue refunds or replacements for packages marked as delivered by the carrier
  • We recommend filing a claim with the carrier and/or checking with neighbors or building management

Non-Delivery (Package Returned to Us):

  • If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address you provided, we can reship it for an additional shipping fee
  • If you prefer a refund, we'll refund the product cost minus original shipping charges

Return Inspection and Rejection

We reserve the right to reject returns that don't meet our return eligibility criteria:

  • If an item is received used, damaged, or not in original condition, we will not issue a refund
  • The item will be shipped back to you at your expense
  • You will be notified via email if a return is rejected

Subscription Returns

Returns for subscription orders follow the same policy as regular orders. Each shipment is eligible for return within 30 days of that shipment's delivery date.

To cancel future subscription shipments, manage your subscription using the links in your order confirmation emails.
